Leland Chen (violin)
Born in Taiwan, Leland came to Britain at the age of 12 to study with Yehudi Menuhin and Robert Masters. His performing career began when he won the Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition. His London début was made with the Philharmonia Orchestra at the Barbican, and he has since been soloist with many of the major UK orchestras. After the enormous success of his New York début, Leland gave a recital tour of over 60 US cities.
